Didier Drogba, born on March 11, 1978 in Abidjan, is an Ivorian international footballer playing the attacking post.

Drogba began his career in France, at the Mans Union Club 72. He discovered Ligue 1 with Guingamp, then played his first European matches under the colors of Marseille.

 The striker is transferred to Chelsea FC in 2004 where he is one of the best players and attackers of his generation. He won in particular the 2011-2012 edition of the Champions League with the English club. After his departure, he is elected "best player in the history of the club" by the fans. He is currently considered one of the best African players of all time.

Didier Drogba was part of the Ivory Coast team from 2002 to 2014. Named captain of the selection, which he is the top scorer, he was twice finalist of the African Cup of Nations in 2006 and 2012 .
